Temples & Math History

                        Sri Ganga Parvathi Sametha Rama Lingeswara Swamy Temple was the first temple built in the Temples complex. It was built by Late Sri Namburi Kasi Vishwanatham and other devotees in the year 1960. Prathistha Kumbhabhishekam was done by Swamiji of Sri Gayathri Peetham, Srimat Paramahamsa Parivrajakacharya  Sri Vidya Shankara Bharati Teertha Swamiji of Machilipatnam on 28-04-1960. Sringeri Jagadguru Sri Sri Abhinava Vidyatirtha Mahaswamiji performed Siva Rathri in Sri Ganga Parvathi Sametha Rama Lingeswara Swamy Temple on 18-02-1966.

                       Sri Adi Shankaracharya Temple (Shankar Math) was built by Late Sri Vinapamula Seetha Ramaiah and Late Sri Polisetty Somasundaram with the help of contributions from Public in the year 1961. Prathistha Kumbhabhishekam was done on 02/07/1961 by Sringeri Jagadguru Sri Sri Abhinava Vidyatirtha Mahaswamiji.

                       In 1966 Late Sri Polisetty Somasundaram started building Sri Sharada Parameswari Devasthanam with his own funds. Temple Prathistha Kumbhabhishekam was done by Sri Sri Abhinava Vidyatirtha Mahaswamiji on 09-02-1966.

                       Sivalayam Management Committee headed by Late Sri Namburi Kasi Vishwanatham built Navagrahalayam, Sri Prasannanjaneya Swamy Temple and Sri Abhaya Kodanda Rama Swamy Temple. Sivalayam Committee requested Sringeri Jagadguru to take the temples under Sringeri Sharada Peetham's administration in the year 1995. From then on all the temples in the Math complex are running under the guidance and instructions of Sringeri Sharada Peetham, Sringeri.

                       In 2014 Sri Polisetty Sri Hariprasada Rao constructed Sri Sadguru Dattatreya Swamy Temple.

                       In 2017 Sri Ganapathi and Sri Kumaraswamy temples were contructed by Sri Tallam Umasankar Guptha and Sri Majeti Veera Durga Hanuman.

                       The temple complex also got a Kalyanamandapam with seperate dining provision. Vast accomodation for as many as 200 devotees was built with in the temple. Air conditioned pravachana mandiram for conducting pravachanams and various religious festivals is also available. Spacious Homasaala is also available in the temple complex for performing homams.
